Abstract: This paper summarized the research progress on the instruments used for assessing quality of life in patients undergone laryngectomy and the influencing factors of their quality of life, including demographic data, operative style, life time after operation, physiological factors, psychological factors, social support, family economic status, in order for nursing staff to provide individualized nursing intervention for the patients and to improve their quality of life.
