Abstract: The development of overseas pre-anesthesia assessment clinics has been more perfect, especially nurses' participation in pre-anesthesia assessment, which provides safer and better perioperative service for operation. This paper introduced the way of setting up the pre-anesthesia assessment clinics, and explored the role of nurses in these clinics. Combined with the current situation of pre-anesthesia assessment in China, we provide some suggestions about that Chinese nurses take part in pre-anesthesia assessment in the future.
