Abstract: In order to improve the rescue success rate of sepsis and septic shock patients, we established Sepsis Rapid Response Team (SRRT) in 2015. The sepsis early warning standard, responsibility of SRRT, emergency rescue process were formulated at the same time. From January 2016 to December 2017, a total of 247 rescuing patients with sepsis and septic shock were included. After the SRRT's work, the compliance of sepsis cluster treatment in the golden 3 hours increased from 33.3% to 100.0%, the rescue success rate increased from 90.7% to 99.2%, and the 28 days survival rate of patients with sepsis increased from 71.3% to 77.3%. In conclusion, the SRRT is important to the rescue the sepsis and septic shock patients.
