Abstract: Drug therapy may cause serious consequence due to patients' non-compliance, medication errors, or improper drug. In recent years, research on the concept of medication literacy has been gradually increased. The concept of medication literacy, the relationship of medication literacy and health literacy, the measurements, influencing factors, and intervention of medication literacy were reviewed in this paper, to provide guidance for decreasing the unsafe using of drugs in China and improving the quality of medication literacy among residents.
