Abstract: In order to clarify the methods and steps of evidence-based practice and promote Evidence-Based Nursing practice more scientifically and effectively, this paper introduced and compared the six evidence-based nursing models which were focused on the process of evidence-based practice, namely Stetler Model of Research Utilization, Iowa model, Ottawa Model of Research Use, Rosswurm & Larrabee model, Knowledge to Action Framework and ACE Star model. We explained the origin, contents, steps and characteristics of each model and provided the application status in nursing field in recent years to provide a reference for clinical nurses to choose appropriate evidence-based models.
