Abstract: Hospice care refers to providing professional medical care for patients at the end-stage, focusing on providing comfortable care, relieving symptoms, patients are no longer being treated in the goal of cure. Through multidisciplinary team cooperation with patients and family members, the psychosocial and spiritual needs of patients and their families can be satisfied while the symptoms are being controlled, so as to improve their quality of life. This paper aims to introduce the practice, reflection and prospect of setting up the hospice ward in our hospital.
