Abstract: High prevalence of Workplace Violence (WPV) in hospital has caused negative influence on clinical nursing students' physical and mental health and their professional attitudes. Nowadays, the research about training of WPV prevention for nursing students in clinical placements has attracted attention gradually. In this paper, the authors reviewed the situation of WPV in hospital and its influence, the status of knowledge, attitude and practice of preventing WPV, and the training status at home and abroad.
