Abstract: Objective: To analyze the application of APP intelligent system for examination and assessment of nursing care quality in operating room. Methods: The traditional nursing care quality evaluation method was used from January to June 2016, and the new APP intelligent system was implemented from July to December 2016. The nursing quality assessment standards and the methods of on-site evaluation were the same in these two different periods. Results: The assessment frequency, time, records integrity, evaluation timeliness, numbers of potential risks for safety, and the numbers of Level 3 adverse events, were different between these two periods when using two different evaluation methods (P<0.05). Conclusion: APP intelligence system for examination and assessment of nursing care quality created a new pattern in the operating room's quality management; its functions included the intelligence analysis, timely evaluation, integrated recording, timely discovering the potential troubles and forward control. The system can reduce the adverse events effectively.
