Abstract: This paper introduced diagnostic standard, incidence rate and related factors of feeding intolerance briefly. We summarized the feeding strategies in preterm infants with feeding intolerance from feeding food types, feeding methods and assisted interventions in aboard and in China in order to provide reference for pediatric medical staff to prevent or treat feeding intolerance. We recommended that we should uniform feeding intolerance diagnostic criteria and establish a more standardized and effective feeding strategy to enhance the effect of nutrition support in preterm infants.
