Research progress on applications of Artificial Intelligence in nursing management of hemodialysis patients

Abstract: This review highlights the major applications of Artificial Intelligence during the hemodialysis process, including intradialytic hemodynamic monitoring and risk prediction, prescription optimization, and multi-source data-driven volume management in hemodialysis, dry weight adjustment and intelligent assessment of dialysis adequacy. It further outlines the potential of Artificial Intelligence technologies to enhance monitoring accuracy, support clinical decision-making, and facilitate individualized patient management. Besides, key challenges, such as data standardization, model interpretability, and integration into clinical workflows, are also discussed.
