Abstract: Objective: To review the studies on the application of "Internet +" symptom management in cancer patients in order to guide future research and clinical practice. Methods: Using the JBI scope review framework as the methodological guidance, nine Chinese and English databases were systematically searched from the databases inception to December 25, 2024. Two researchers conducted literature screening, data extraction, and summary analysis. Results: A total of 21 articles were included in this study. The main forms of the "Internet +" symptom management for cancer patients were WeChat, mobile applications and internet websites, with functions covering symptom assessment and monitoring, health education, online interaction, and other issues. Research results indicated that "Internet +" symptom management has significant effects in improving symptoms, psychological status, quality of life, and adherence. Conclusion: Multi-carrier based "Internet +" symptom management can provide convenient and real-time services for cancer patients, but the comprehensiveness and systematism still need to be further improved.
