Abstract: Objective: To obtain and summarize the best evidence on non-pharmacological interventions for sleep disorders in dementia patients. Methods: We searched and analyzed guidances, systematic reviews and original studies from relevant guidance databases including those of professional associations. Results: Thirty one articles were included in the study. Three dimensions including evaluation, interventions and guidance for caregivers with 29 items of evidence were summarized. Conclusion: Most evidence at the moment are achieved from foreign studies and thus need to be further localized in China. High-quality original studies are needed to guide best practice in the future.
