Abstract: Health education has a positive effect on disease prevention and rehabilitation, which is an important part of clinical nursing. The PRECEDE-PROCEED model is widely used in health education because of its comprehensive, systematic and effective features. This review summarized the connotation and content of the PRECEDE-PROCEED model, and introduced its application in health education both in China and abroad.
