Abstract: Objective: To construct a core competency framework for wound/ostomy nurse specialist. Methods:Nineteen wound/ostomy certified specialists from tertiary hospitals in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, and Shandong were consulted with three-round Delphi studies. Results: The degree of experts' opinion concentration were very high. The authority of the expert advisory coefficient was 0.90, familiar coefficient was 0.85, and determination coefficient was 0.95.The coordination coefficient of primary and secondary and third indicators were 0.495, 0.472, 0.282, respectively. The indicator system consisted of 6 first-level indicators, 19 second-level indicators and 69 third-level indicators. Conclusion:The core competence evaluation index system is reliable and valid. It can provide reference standards for training and evaluation of wound/ostomy nurse specialist.
