Abstract: The incidence of breast cancer has been increasing in recent years. It is a serious threat to women's physical and mental health. In the meantime, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) has been widely used as a psychological therapy in western countries, and it is proven to be effective to improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients. This study retrospectively analyzes the application of mindfulness based stress reduction therapy concept and content, existing problems and the effects of mindfulness based stress reduction in breast cancer patients, and summarizes the deficiencies in the treatment and future research directions, in order to provide reference and basis for the implementation of mindfulness based stress reduction in breast cancer patients.
