Abstract: Emergency delirium has become an important problem that emergency health care workers need to face.The complex reasons and serious consequences need our active response. This review summarized the clinical features,assessment tools, adverse consequences and improvement measures of delirium in emergency department both in China and aboard, and provided evidence for care of delirium patients and research on delirium in emergency department.
