Abstract: This paper discussed the new nursing thinking and ideas for acute and critical ill patients. The main contents included the nursing consciousness of preparedness ensures success, nursing thinking of know-why, and nursing art of nuanced observation. It was suggested that health care workers to be diligent in thinking,especially to think out of the conventional, to grasp the essence of clinical nursing with the correct way of thinking. These were instructive for widening nursing thinking method and improving the emergency and critical care nursing level for critically ill patients.
