Abstract: The nursing practice environment is defined as the organizational characteristics of a certain work setting which would facilitate or constrain professional nursing practice. It is a key factor which would influence the outcome on nurses and patients. A healthy nursing practice environment could cultivate nurses' professional behaviors, increase the patient satisfaction and reduce the rate of adverse events. A good scale could measure the nursing practicing environment effectively and could provide guidance for administrators to take measures to improve the practice environment.
