Abstract: Objective: To analyze the current status and equity of nursing human resources allocation in Shaanxi province in 2014. Methods: The nursing human resources allocation was analyzed in terms of Lorenz curve and Gini coefficient in health economics using descriptive statistical analysis method. Results: Nursing human resources are fairly distributed based on population allocation and the Gini coefficient is 0.105 with the reality of the nursing shortage and irrational internal structure. Conclusion: We should further optimize the resource allocation, increase the level of nursing staff resources allocation in rural areas, adjust the structures of academic background and professional titles and cultivate the advanced nursing professionals team.
