Abstract: Objective: To investigate the status of resilience and quality of life in Chronic Heart Failure patients and to explore the whether resilience has any effect on quality of life. Methods: Use cross-sectional survey method, apply Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, the Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnair, and self-designed basic demographic questionnaire, 351 patients with Chronic Heart Failure from a Tertiary grade A hospital took the survey. Results: The score of quality of life for Chronic Heart Failure patients was (58.01±21.55). The resilience score was (57.55±8.53). The resilience was significantly related to the quality of life, and which explained 32.5% of the total variation. Conclusion: The Chronic Heart Failure patients have poor quality of life and low resilience. Suggest to implement more intervention to strengthen the resilience therefore to improve the overall patient's quality of life.
