Abstract: Objective: To investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of depression in patients with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM). Methods: Totally 213 gestational diabetes mellitus patients were investigated Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS)and Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS). Results: The prevalence of depression in GDM patients was 40.38%.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, sleep quality and utility degree of social support were the important influencing factors of GDM patients depression status (OR=12.877, 0.147, 0.313, respectively). Conclusion: There was high depression prevalence in GDM patients. Age was probably risk factors, while sleep and social support levels were protective factors.
