Abstract: Objective: To analyze the work time of circulating nurses in order to provide evidence of simplifyingwork flow and improving the work efficiency. Methods: Facilitate selection of 35 circulating nurses, using spot-tracking method to track 35 different operations and record details of each circuluating nurse working condition and time using self-designed data collection forms. Results: 85.29% is directly related to the operations. Conclusion: The schedule of the circulating nurse is reasonable, but we need to strengthen the time of cooperation with the anesthesiologist, optimize the items placement, improve the document efficiency and reduce the time to fetch, thereby to improve the overall work efficiency.
