Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effects of Quality Control Circle (QCC) in decreasing the rate of unplanned stop of Continuous Blood Purification (CBP). Methods: Decreasing unplanned stop rate of continuous blood purification was set as the primary subject of QCC activities. The authors investigated the incidence of unplanned stop of CBP, analyzed reasons and established countermeasures accordingly. And the differences of unplanned stop rate of CBP and satisfaction level of nurses in cooperation department before and after QCC were compared. Results: The unplanned stop rate of CBP decreased from 25.45% to 10.87% after QCC (P<0.01). And the satisfaction degree of nurses increased significantly (P<0.05).Conclusion: QCC activities could decrease the unplanned stop rate of CBP and improve the cooperation of multi-disciplinary team and care quality of CBP.
