Abstract: Objective: To investigate the knowledge of prevention and management of incontinence-associated dermatitis among clinical nurses. Methods: Totally 330 clinical nurses in Zhenjiang were investigated by a self-designed questionnaire.Results: The score of the knowledge of prevention and management of incontinence-associated dermatitis was lower. Conclusion:Clinical nurses have less knowledge of prevention and management of incontinence-associated dermatitis. It is mostly because of lacking of education related to incontinence-associated dermatitis. It is recommended that knowledge related to prevention and management of incontinence-associated dermatitis should be added in the school education and continuing education. The standard of prevention and management of incontinence-associated dermatitis should be established.
