Abstract: The scenario simulation teaching method set up some kind of realistic work scenarios or management systems which require the learners to complete certain tasks or series of tasks according to certain work requirements in order to train or investigate the abilities and skills of learners. This teaching method could improve the learners' practical abilities and analytical capabilities, therefore it is popularized gradually in Chinese nurses' continuing education. The article reviews the application status of the scenario simulation teaching method in various clinical nursing areas and nursing assessment, describes its application status in Chinese nurses' continuing education, and its further application in the future.
