Abstract: With the rapid advancement of medical knowledge and technology, division of work between the medical and nursing care becomes finer and finer. Adding the harmonious coordination of these two fields to that, the health care service becomes more and more perfect, satisfying the needs of the patients and the requirements for a thorough nursing care. Orthopedic is reflected in holistic care. The patient is taken care from the onset of an emergency case to rehabilitation, from being at the hospital up to his return to the community. In addition to the medical specialist, orthopedic specialist nursing support for the patient's care must not be missing. To maintain the professional standard of orthopedic care, the most important is the need to receive high-quality orthopedic nursing care training to keep up with the pace of scientific advancement. Orthopedic specialty nurses receiving over the years a systematic training from the foundation to specialist level should have their knowledge and skill more solid and thorough.They should have their professional mission and confidence to make them sensitive to the service needs innovation.
