Objective: To investigate the relationship between family function and benefit finding, and to analyze the moderating role of family function in the relationship between coping style and benefit finding in the children with malignant tumors, in order to provide basis for further improvement of the benefit finding of children with malignant tumors. Methods: By convenient sampling method, a total of 284 children with malignant tumors from three general children's hospitals (including Beijing, Hebei and Henan) were investigated with the Family APGAR Index Scale, the Chinese version of Benefit Finding Scale for Children, and Paediatric Cancer Coping Scale from February to October, 2022. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the moderating effect of family function in the relationship between coping style and benefit finding. Results: The score of family function in children with malignant tumors was 7.81±2.38, and family function of different conditions played a moderating role in the relationship between problem-oriented coping style and benefit finding, as well as the relationship between defensive coping style and benefit finding. Conclusion: We should pay attention to children with family dysfunction, find out the potential problems of family cooperation and growth, and provide practical guidance to promote the adjustment of family function in order to improve benefit finding.

Early screening is important to promote early detection, diagnosis and treatment of cancer so as to reduce the economy burden caused by the disease. Nurses have been increasingly playing a professional role in cancer prevention and early screening. This article reviews the roles and functions of nurses as evaluators, educators, counselors and so on in cancer prevention, detection and early diagnosis, to provide nurses with reference for their professional development, clinical practice and researches in the field of cancer prevention and treatment.

Objective: Based on the patient journey mapping, the multidimensional needs in the health management of young and middle-aged enterostomy patients with colorectal cancer are visualized, providing information support for optimizing the whole-journey care for those patients. Methods: Using descriptive research methods, 13 young and middle-aged enterostomy patients with colorectal cancer were selected from December 2023 to March 2024. Content analysis was employed to analyze the interview data and draw the journey map of the patients. Results: According to the timing of diagnosis and treatment, from the three dimensions of task, emotion and pain points, the health management needs of patients were subdivided into 30 themes, including early screening and early diagnosis, symptom management, excretion concealment, care support, social adjustment and information screening, to establish the journey map of young and middle-aged enterostomy patients with colorectal cancer. Conclusion: The diversity and complexity of the patients's health management needs make their cancer journey long and complicated. In the future, in light with the various health management needs of such patients, it is necessary to study and construct a health management resource matching model with complementary authoritative medical care and high-quality peer support, so as to synergistically support patients' physical and psychosocial needs, accurately provide quality whole-journey care support to colorectal cancer patients with colostomy.

Objective: To construct the quality control and evaluation indicators of basic health management nursing techniques, so as to provide a reference for the standardization and homogenization of these techniques. Methods: On the basis of the three-dimensional quality structure theory, we searched literatures and carried out expert group discussions and employed Delphi method to screen the indicators and quantify the dimensions, entries and evaluation indexes at all levels of quality control and evaluation. Results: The index system of basic technology quality control and evaluation system of health management nursing was finally formed, with 3 indexes at the first level, 10 indexes at the second level and 51 indexes at the third level. The effective response rate of the two rounds of expert correspondence questionnaires was 94.4%. The authority coefficient of the correspondence experts was 0.879, and the Kendall's harmony coefficient of the first and second rounds of consultancy was 0.210 and 0.199, respectively, which were all statistically significant (P<0.001). Conclusion: The quality control and evaluation index system of basic health management nursing techniques constructed in this study is scientific, effective, objective and operable to provide reference for standardizing the practice, training and assessment of health management and indicators that can be used by health management organizations to carry out quality control of basic health management nursing techniques.

Objective: To conduct a scope review on the application of mHealth in the continuing care of enterostomy patients and summarize the intervention forms, content elements, outcome indicators, and effects of mobile health to provide reference for future research in this field. Methods: Based on the methodological framework of scope review guidelines issued by the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), we systematically searched PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, The Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, WanFang Data and VIP databases from their inception to February 2024 Then the included literature were summarized and analyzed. Results: A total of 18 articles were included. The intervention forms of mHealth included mobile apps, WeChat mini-programs, remote conferences, and website platforms. The content elements mainly referred to health education, health monitoring, psychological nursing, professional staff support, and peer support. The outcome indicators contained knowledge, attitude and behavior related to stoma, complication outcomes, quality of life, severity of symptoms, patient experience and resource utilization. Conclusion: The application of mHealth in continuing care for patients with colostomy is feasible with positive influences. Future research should pay more attention to peer education, the friendliness of human-machine interaction, and patient privacy protection. Based on theoretical frameworks and intelligent information technology, remote education and health management to further improve the quality of life for colostomy patients remain to be explored.

Objective: To extract, analyze and summarize the relevant evidence of exercise management for colorectal cancer survivors, aiming to provide evidence for nursing practice of exercise intervention for colorectal cancer survivors. Methods: The literature on exercise management of colorectal cancer survivors was systematically searched from domestic and foreign databases until December 31, 2023. The quality of the included literature was evaluated, and the evidence was extracted and integrated based on. Results: A total of 15 studies were included, including 1 clinical decision, 2 guidelines, 1 expert consensus and 9 systematic reviews, 2 randomized controlled trials. Finally, fifteen evidences were summarized from four aspects, including preparation before exercise, exercise type, exercise program, and exercise support. Conclusion: This study summarizes the evidence of exercise management in colorectal cancer survivors, and provides evidence-based evidence for health care workers to develop safe, standardized and effective exercise programs.

Objective: To analyze the clinical application effect of early goal-directed mobilization protocols in patients after pancreatic tumor resection, in order to improve the effectiveness and initiative of early activity and promote postoperative recovery of patients. Methods: We randomly selected 35 patients who underwent pancreatic surgery at a tertiary grade A hospital in Shanghai from March to May 2023 as the control group, and 35 patients from June to August 2023 as the experimental group. The control group was treated with routine nursing measures after pancreatic tumor resection, and the experimental group applied the early goal-directed mobilization protocols in supervising the early activities of the patients. The effectiveness of the protocol was evaluated by comparing the time of first getting out of bed, flatus, defecation, oral drinking, urinary catheter removal and gastric tube removal between the two groups. The occurrence of postoperative complications and activity-related adverse events were compared between the two groups to evaluate the safety of the protocol. Results: There were statistically significant differences in the time of first getting out of bed, flatus, defecation and oral drinking between the two groups (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in urinary catheter removal time, gastric tube removal time and postoperative complications between the two groups (P>0.05). No exercise-related adverse events were observed in either group. Conclusion: Early goal-directed mobilization protocols is safe and effective in promoting early ambulation, early drink oral water and postoperative ventilation and defecation after surgery, no increased risk of postoperative bleeding, unplanned extubation and death.

Objective: To explore the obstacles to early screening behavior of high-risk population of breast cancer from the perspective of oncology nurses. Methods: Qualitative and descriptive research methods were adopted. A semi-structured interview was conducted on 14 oncology specialist nurses from september 2022 to March 2023. Data were transcribed and analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Results: The obstacles to early screening at high risk population of breast cancer were summarized into 5 themes: lack of self-early detection literacy of breast cancer; perceived lack of support; accessibility constraints for screening; insufficient screening popularity; inadequate support system. Conclusion: The early screening decision of high risk breast cancer population is affected by individual, interpersonal, organizational, community and policy factors. It is necessary to enhance the early detection literacy of breast cancer among high-risk population. At the same time, we should strengthen the support system based on "family strategy", and provide the targeted external support environment, actively implement the relevant policies to promote the popularization of early screening.

Nurses play a vital role in health management. In order to provide a reference for the advancement of health management nursing in China, this paper reviews its origin, development, practice and professional status in China, analyzes the current problems and shortages, learns from foreign experience, and discusses the future direction of the high-quality development of health management nursing in China.

Objective: To investigate the current situation of oncology nurses' quality of work life and the death-coping ability, and to explore their correlation. Methods: A total of 193 nurses from two grade A tertiary specialized oncology hospitals in Guangzhou were selected by convenience sampling method from July to August 2020, and were surveyed on-site using a general information questionnaire, a work-related quality of life scale, and a death-coping ability scale. Results: The total score of work-related quality of life was 106.89±16.46, which was at a medium level. The total score of death-coping ability was 128.29±27.83. The total score of quality of work life was significantly and positively correlated with the total score of death-coping ability, the ability to deal with near-death, and the ability to express thoughts about death (r=0.161, P<0.05). Conclusion: Both oncology nurses' quality of work life and their death-coping ability were at a medium level. Death coping ability was an important influence on quality of work life. By improving nurses' ability to cope with death, such as strengthening end-of-life nursing training and psychological counseling, managers can help improve nurses' quality of work and life and stabilize the nursing team.

Objective: To investigate the real experience of cancer prevention in healthy people with BRCA gene mutations. Methods: A total of 12 healthy subjects who underwent genetic testing in a tertiary grade A hospital in Shanghai from January 2018 to December 2022 were selected for semi-structured in-depth interviews, and the original data were collated and analyzed by Colaizzi's 7-step analysis method. Results: Three themes were extracted, including psychological remodeling, putting into practice, decision-making conflict. Conclusion: In the process of cancer prevention, healthy people with BRCA gene mutations often experience psychological remodeling. At the same time, they are willing to make behavioral changes. However, decision-making conflicts do occur in the face of some important decisions, which requires full attention of the medical staff. Therefore, more genetic counselors should be trained to help those people in the future.

Objective: To integrate the qualitative research about the real experience with ileal conduit after radical cystectomy among patients with bladder cancer, fully understand the patient's problems and needs, and provide implications for formulating specific intervention strategies of urostomy patients. Methods: The qualitative studies on real experience for ileal conduit after radical cystectomy among patients with bladder cancer were systematically searched, evaluated, and extracted from the Chinese and English databases according to the inclusion criteria. The retrieval time limit is from the inception to March 2023. The literature quality was evaluated by the Quality Evaluation Standard for Qualitative Research of Evidence Based Health Care Center of Joanna Briggs Institute in Australia (2020), and the Meta integration method was used to integrate the results. Results: A total of 12 studies, consisting of 61 research results were included. A total of 10 new categories, 4 comprehensive results were finally integrated, including Psychological problems as hard to adapt to the changes in body and lifestyle after surgery; Decreased quality of life due to changes in physiological function after surgery; Insufficient postoperative self-care ability and eagerness of professional continuing care guidance; Social support for life reconstruction from multiple resources as patient has post-traumatic growth. Conclusion: To improve the quality of life of patients after operation, the health care professionals should fully understand the postoperative experience and needs of patients promote the medical security system, and provide patients with long-term, comprehensive professional guidance and continuous care services.

Nursing care is an important part of medical care. The development of the concept, mode and method of nursing quality control provide a key driver for continuous improvement of nursing quality. This paper reviews and summarizes the progress and achievements of nursing quality management and control in China in the last decade, and analyzes the current status of the quality of nursing care, and discusses the forward direction of further promoting the high-quality development of nursing care in China in the period of "the 14th Five Year Plan period".

The article provides an overview of the progress of wise information technology of nursing since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, introduces the five parts of nursing clinical information system, nursing management information system, wisdom nursing education, wisdom wards and telecare, and puts forward prospects, aiming to provide reference for promoting nursing information construction.

Objective: To construct the risk management indicators of outpatient blood collection in cancer hospitals based on Kaiser Model, in order to provide reference for improving the quality of outpatient blood collection in specialized hospitals for cancer patients. Methods: Based on the Kaiser Model, the initial survey tool was formed by consulting relevant literature papers and policies, combined with the semi-structured interview results, and then the Delphi expert correspondence method was used to build the risk management indicators for outpatient blood collection in cancer hospitals. Results: During the two rounds of correspondence, the effective recovery rates of the questionnaires were 83.33% (15/18) and 100% (15/15), respectively. The authority coefficients of the two rounds of expert consultation were 0.85 and 0.92, respectively, with the Kendall harmony coefficients of expert consultation ranging from 0.290 to 0.381. The final Kaiser Model-based risk management indicators of outpatient blood collection in cancer hospitals included 3 first-level indicators, 8 second-level indicators and 24 third-level indicators. Conclusion: The risk management indicators of outpatient blood collection in cancer hospital is scientific and reliable, which can provide reference for improving the quality of outpatient care.

Medication safety management is an important part of patient safety management. As the final implementer of patient medication, the level of medication safety management of nurses is crucial to ensure the medication safety of hospitalized patients. This paper reviews the current situation of medication safety management and practice at home and abroad, summarizes the progress and effectiveness of nurses in medication safety management practice in China, in order to provide references for promoting the further improvement of the medication safety level of patients in China.

Objective: To explore the application of stepwise comprehensive rehabilitation program in the patients with breast cancer-related lymphedema. Methods: The quasi-experimental research method was adopted. A total of 33 patients with breast cancer-associated lymphoedema who were treated in the lymphedema nursing clinic of a tertiary grade A hospital in Zhejiang province from January 2022 to June 2022 were set as the control group, and routine nursing management mode was adopted. A total of 36 patients from July 2022 to December 2022 were set as the experimental group, and the stepwise comprehensive rehabilitation program was adopted on the basis of the control group. The bioelectrical impedance, grip strength, upper limb dysfunction, family intimacy, family adaptability and so on of the two groups were measured before and after intervention. Results: After intervention, the experimental group was superior to the control group in Body Mass Index control, moisture content of affected limb, bioelectrical impedance, grip strength, upper limb dysfunction, family intimacy, family adaptability and so on (P<0.05). Conclusion: The stepwise comprehensive rehabilitation program is effective in promoting the rehabilitation of patients with breast cancer-related lymphedema. It is of great significance in relieving the symptoms of upper limb lymphedema, improving the limb dysfunction of upper limb lymphedema and promoting family intimacy, so it is worth popularizing it in clinical nursing work.

Objective: To investigate the current situation of training transfer among health management specialist nurses and analyze its influencing factors, so as to improve the health management nurses training program. Methods: A total of 196 health management specialist nurses who received specialist nurse training at the Sichuan Province Health Management Specialist Nurse Training Base from November 2021 to November 2023 were investigated by general information questionnaire, Training Transfer Questionnaire for Health Management Specialist Nurses, General Self-efficacy Scale, General Training Climate Scale. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of the training transfer of health management specialist nurses. Results: The total score of Training Transfer Scale for Health Management Specialist Nurses was 21.49±1.88. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that job title, institution type, transfer climate and general self-efficacy were the influencing factors for the training transfer of health management specialist nurses (P<0.05). Conclusion: The training transfer of health management nurses is in the upper middle level, which is affected by many factors. Nurse managers should develop targeted training management programs according to relevant influencing factors, thus, to continuously improve the level of training transfer and improve the quality of training for health management specialist nurses.

Objective: To explore the application effects of genetic risk assessment and management model of gastric cancer led by oncology nurses. Methods: From July 2020 to June 2022, the model was led by oncology specialist nurses, combined with gastric cancer medical experts. Genetic risk assessment, genetic testing guidance, gastric cancer risk management and follow-up care were provided. Results: A total of 842 people were screened and 74 people (8.77%) with hereditary gastric cancer risk were enrolled. Totally 15 people (1.78%) underwent genetic testing, and 3 people (0.36%) had cancer susceptibility genes mutation. Gastric cancer risk knowledge scores at the one-month follow-up stage were higher than those at the cancer risk assessment stage and the cancer risk management stage (P<0.05). Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale scores were all in the normal range (P>0.05). The compliance rate of gastric cancer risk management at the six-month follow-up stage was higher than that at the one-month follow-up stage. The overall satisfaction of patients was 98.64%. Conclusion: The genetic risk assessment and management model of gastric cancer led by oncology nurses is beneficial to the improvement of gastric cancer risk knowledge level and the compliance rate of gastric cancer risk management plan without anxiety, depression and other negative psychological effects, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Objective: To construct and promote the three-way linkage and continuous care model for chronic diseases, and to provide a basis for the formulation of relevant policies for chronic disease prevention and control. Methods: Based on WHO's innovative nursing model for chronic diseases, a three-way linkage and continuous nursing model of "hospital, community and family" was constructed with "hospital, community and family" as the three interfaces and "information, management and relationship" as the core elements. Innovative promotion mechanisms such as "high-quality nursing resources radiating to the grassroots, case management, Internet + nursing services, and chronic health science popularization" have been put forward to break the operation barriers of the model. Based on "structure-process-outcome", an evaluation index system for the quality of continuous care for stroke patients was established to provide an evaluation tool for the effective implementation of standardized continuous care for chronic diseases. Results: Through the operation of the model, it guided the formulation of policies such as the sinking of high quality nursing resources, multi-point practice of nurses, construction of community nursing centers and popularization of science into the evaluation of professional titles, optimized the allocation of medical resources and enhanced the ability of community nursing service. It also improved the health outcome and self-management ability of chronic disease patients. Conclusion: The construction and operation of the "hospital-community-family" three-way linkage and continuous care model for chronic diseases plays an important role in guiding the formulation of chronic disease policies, optimizing the allocation of medical resources, improving community nursing capacity and improving the health outcomes of patients, etc. The government, hospitals, communities, families and patients need to work together to truly achieve continuous and whole-process care for patients after discharge.

Objective: To establish risk stratification screening indicators for transitional care in patients with Chronic Heart Failure (CHF), and to provide the basis for risk stratification assessment of transitional care for patients with CHF after discharge. Methods: With the biological-psycho-social medical model as the theoretical framework, literature analysis, research group discussion and Delphi method were used to construct the risk stratification screening indicators for transitional care in patients with CHF. The weight and risk rating of each indicator were determined by the analytic hierarchy process and ABC classification, and a pre-survey was carried out. Results: A total of 2 rounds of expert letter consultation were completed, the positive degree of experts was 88.89% and 100.00%, and the expert authority coefficient was 0.92 and 0.93, respectively. The coordination coefficient of indicators at all levels in the second round of expert letter consultation was 0.377 and 0.130, respectively (all P<0.05). A total of 1 indicator was modified in the pre-survey. Finally, 3 primary indicators (physiological factors of disease, psychosocial factors and treatment factors) and 18 secondary indicators were determined. Conclusion: The risk stratification screening index for transitional care of patients with CHF established in this study is scientific and reliable, which can effectively identify patients with different risk in transitional care, to provide the basis for the implementation of hierarchical transitional care.

Objective: To investigate the current status of medication safety in patients with chronic diseases and to analyze its influencing factors. Methods: Totally 405 patients with chronic diseases from 4 tertiary grade A hospitals and 4 community health care centers were enrolled by convenience sampling method from August to November, 2023. A questionnaire survey was conducted, which included demographic information, disease conditions, medication literacy, self-efficacy for appropriate medication and medication safety status. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of medication safety in chronic disease patients. Results: The medication safety score of chronic disease patients was 47.86±11.96, and the multiple linear regression analysis result showed that the better the medication literacy, self-efficacy for appropriate medication, and exercise status of chronic disease patients, the higher their medication safety score. Conclusion: The medication safety status of chronic disease patients needs to be improved. Medication literacy, self-efficacy for appropriate medication and exercise status are influential factors for medication safety.

Objective: To summarize the evidence for the management of dysphagia in postoperative patients with oral cancer, in order to provide reference for clinical practice. Methods: We searched and analyzed guidelines, expert consensus, systematic reviews and experimental studies from relevant guideline and professional association websites and databases. After literature quality evaluation, we extracted and integrated the evidence, and finally obtained the evidence applicable to the clinical situation in China after expert discussion. Results: A total of 26 articles were included, and 19 recommendations were determined in 4 aspects, including management team, dysphagia assessment, swallowing rehabilitation training and complication prevention. Conclusion: The evidence for the management of dysphagia in patients with oral cancer after surgery can provide a reference for evidence transformation and clinical application. The evidence-based nursing practice should be carried out considering clinical practice and patient characteristics in the future.

Objective: To investigate the status quo of returning to work and its related factors in colorectal cancer survivors, and to provide theoretical reference for promoting their return to work. Methods: A convenient sampling with 281 colorectal cancer survivors were included from the outpatients at a tertiary grade A tumor specialized hospital in Hangzhou from December 2021 to July 2022. The patient general information questionnaire, the Chinese Version of the MD Anderson Symptom Inventory-Gastrointestinal Cancer Module, Social Impact Scale and The Work-ability Support Scale were used to collect data. Results: Totally 180 survivors (64.06%) of colorectal cancer had returned to work, the results of binary logistic regression analysis showed that the score of Social Impact Scale (OR=0.89, 95% CI:0.81-0.99), work-ability (OR=1.14, 95% CI:1.02-1.28), willingness to work (OR=1.14, 95% CI:1.02-1.28), supports from families and friends (OR=31.13, 95%CI: 5.29-183.06), employer contacting (OR=11.94, 95% CI:2.28-62.38) were associated with the outcome of whether return-to-work. Conclusion: Medical staff should correctly assess the physical and mental condition of colorectal cancer survivors and their ability to return to work, and more supports from the families, workplaces and the society are expected to, help survivors build confidence and actively return to work.

Objective: To investigate the knowledge, attitude, and practice of nurses in selecting anti-tumor drugs, and to provide reference for clinical training. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted among 357 nurses from 46 tumor chemotherapy departments in 14 tertiary hospitals in Beijing by convenience sampling. The survey tools were self-designed general data questionnaire and anti-tumor drug infusion set selection knowledge, confidence and practice questionnaire. Results: Among 357 nurses, the knowledge score was 2 (1, 3), with a scoring rate of 37.48%. Totally 166 nurses (46.50%) believed that the selection of infusion set should be carried out by nurses. Attitude: The recognition score was 40 (37, 40) points, the score rate was 94.68%. The overall attitude was positive. Practical behavior: The practical score was 25 (9, 30) points, the score rate was 82.33%. Totally 20 nurses (5.60%) never or rarely paid attention to infusion set knowledge and information related to chemotherapy drugs; Only 142 nurses (39.78%) regularly received infusion set related training. Conclusion: The knowledge level of anti-tumor drug infusion set selection of nurses needs to be improved, the importance of anti-tumor drug infusion set selection attitude is positive, and the practice behavior needs to be strengthened. Nursing managers should pay full attention to the training needs of nurses on anti-tumor drug infusion set, formulate infusion set selection norms and carry out relevant systematic training, so as to improve the practical level of anti-tumor drug infusion set selection.

Objective: To applicate the intelligent dispensing and delivery system in chemotherapy drugs and explore its effects, and provide a reference for ensuring medication safety and improving clinical work efficiency. Methods: We compared the time required for dispensing of chemotherapy drugs and the residual amount of drugs between nurse and robots by field observation method. The amount of chemotherapy drugs dispensed by manud and robots, the frequency of drug delivery between workers and robots were compared before and after the use of intelligent dispensing and delivery system. Results: The time required for manual dispensing of chemotherapy drugs was longer than that of robot dispensing (P<0.01), and the residual amount of drugs in manual dispensing was more than that of robot (P<0.01). The amount of chemotherapy drugs dispensed by robots was lower than that of manual (P<0.01). The amount of drugs delivered by robots per month was higher than that by workers (P<0.01). Conclusion: By applying the intelligent dispensing and delivery system for chemotherapy drugs, the accuracy and efficiency of drug administration can be improved, the frequency of contact between personnel and chemotherapy drugs can be reduced, which is beneficial for reducing the risk of occupational injury and is worthy of promotion and application.

Objective: To construct the traditional Chinese medicine four-in-one chronic disease management model of "prevention and treatment" guided by the theory of preventive treatment, so as to provide a referece for the promotion of traditional Chinese medicine non-pharmacological therapy. Methods: We built a characteristic diagnosis and treatment center for non-pharmacological therapy of traditional Chinese medicine, developed an information management platform for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases of traditional Chinese medicine, formulated standardized plans on chronic diseases of non-pharmacological therapy of traditional Chinese medicine, and constructed a model for chronic diseases management of traditional Chinese medicine. The model was implemented by "online+offline" interaction and a "clinic+inpatient" linkage network, as well as the centralized management mode supplemented by satellite mode. Results: The patient's medical treatment satisfaction rate was 97.63%. The number of outpatient receptions increased year by year. By 2023, the service volume reached an average of 640000 person-times per year, and 178456 health records of patients with chronic diseases were established. Conclusion: The four-in-one traditional Chinese medicine chronic disease management model of "prevention and rehabilitation" provides patients with comprehensive and personalized medical services, improves patients' medical experience, and enhances patients' satisfaction rate.

By searching, combing, analyzing and summarizing the domestic and foreign literature related to medication reconciliation in nursing, this paper elaborates the connotation and basic steps of medication reconciliation. The research perspectives of medication reconciliation were introduced from the three aspects of admission transition period, hospitalization period and hospital-family transition period to discuss and explore its guiding significance for medication discrepancy management and propose the future development direction so as to provide reference for medical and nursing staff to implement medication reconciliation.

Objective: To design and conduct a course on "Life Care and Death Education" based on the needs of medical students, and evaluate its effects, with a view to providing a reference for other medical schools in China to carry out life and death education programs. Methods: Taking the "perimortem period" as the time frame, the main line of the course ran through theoretical contents and practical thematic activities. Through the "walking classroom" experiential practical teaching method, the program led the medical students to face the real scenarios of life and death directly, to improve the concepts of caring and to generate caring actions. Results: The course included "life and care" and "death and farewell" two theoretical topics, and "journey of life", "power of care", "self-care", "thoughts on death" and "the day of farewell" five practical topics. The initial practical results of the course were good, and the course was highly positively evaluated by a wide range of stakeholders. Conclusion: The course is reasonably designed, with a clear and explicit implementation plan, which to a certain extent meets the learning needs of medical students for life and death education, promotes the self-knowledge of medical students on life and death issues in the ideology and the self-consciousness of caregiving actions, and has a strong generalizability, and is able to provide suggestions for the development of life and death education courses in various institutions of higher learning.

The increasing population aging has posed a huge challenge to the healthcare worldwide. The World Health Organization (WHO) has pointed out the concept of "healthy aging" and the Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) model. Currently, ICOPE has been practiced in several countries, including China (Beijing), yet with fewer reports on it. This paper systematically analyses the current status of the implementation of the WHO ICOPE model at home and abroad and puts forward relevant insights into the practice of ICOPE in China, with a view to providing a reference for the introduction and promotion of ICOPE in China in the future.

As a frontier window and important link for health risk assessment and management, nurses play an important role in the health management. Based on the big health perspective and the trend of digital intelligence, this article summarizes the role of nurses in five aspects: health information collection, health physical examination and information monitoring, health risk factor identification, health risk management implementation and effect evaluation. This article also sorts out the opportunities and challenges faced by nurses in responding to the health risk management needs of the population. It is expected to provide information for nurses engaging in health risk management.

Objective: To explore the management pathway for patients with Malignant Fungating Wounds (MFWs) based on specialized nursing studio and evaluate its clinical practical effects. Methods: The specialized nursing studio and clinical departments were collaborated to form a specialized multidisciplinary team for patients with MFWs. Through group discussion and dynamic evaluation, systematic and precise nursing plan were developed. Nursing services were expanded including online interaction, teaching, gratuitous treatment and other activities. Results: A total of 11 patients with MFWs were cared for in the studio, 11 sets of individualized care plans for patients with MFWs were formulated, 4 free community clinics and 4 community voluntary classes were conducted. The satisfaction of patients and their families was over 95%. Conclusion: The practice of multidisciplinary team based on specialized nursing studio provides dynamic and precise care services for patients with MFWs, and promotes the professional development of MFWs nursing, which is worthy of clinical reference and application.

Objective: To understand the experience of clinical nurses on implementing narrative nursing for terminal patients in combination with Chinese traditional culture, and to provide reference for the clinical promotion of localized narrative nursing. Methods: Using snowball sampling method, 12 clinical nurses with narrative nursing experience in terminal patients were selected for semi-structured interviews, and the transcripts were analyzed by theme analysis method. Results: In the process of implementing localized narrative nursing for terminal patients, the experience of clinical nurses included four themes: clinical revolution, practice course, self-benefit, and dilemma and challenge. Conclusion: The implementation of localized narrative nursing for terminal patients not only alleviates the pain of patients, but also enhances the professional value of clinical nurses. However, narrative nursing practice also faces many challenges, and the support from management and organization level is needed to ensure the sustainable development of localized narrative nursing practice.

Objective: Design a remote management APP for mental health of pregnant women with fetal abnormalities during pregnancy termination, and evaluate its usability and application effect, in order to provide continuous psychological and social support and alleviate their negative emotions. Methods: Based on psychosocial intervention program for women undergoing termination of pregnancy for fetal abnormalities, the psychological, social, and information support in the intervention program was transformed into an APP. Formative and summative usability evaluations were conducted by using focus group discussion and System Usability Scale. Measure the levels of depression and social support of the intervention group and control group. Results: The main parts of the APP include stage assessment, psychological support, peer support, and information support. The summative usability evaluation is good, and the levels of depression and social support in the intervention group after using the APP were significantly improved than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The APP is user centered, and realizes intelligent continuous care, which helps to effectively reduce pregnant women's depression, improve social support level, and promote the mental health management of pregnant women with fetal abnormalities during pregnancy termination.

Objective: To investigate the construction of diabetes nursing specialty and the current status of diabetes care quality management in non-endocrine care units in secondary and above hospital in Hunan province. Methods: Two-stage stratified random sampling was used to conduct a survey of 137 secondary and above general hospitals in Hunan province from August 15 to October 15, 2023. Results: Among the 137 hospitals surveyed, 58.39% of the hospitals had established diabetes care teams, 43.80% had set up diabetes education or diabetes care clinics, and 48.91% had implemented hospital-wide blood glucose management. The number of diabetes specialist nurses in the hospital was a factor influencing the construction of diabetes specialties (P<0.05). The score for diabetes care quality management in non-endocrinology departments was (87.20±11.36) points. The dimension with the highest score was insulin injection, and the lowest was health education. The score for diabetes care quality in hospitals that had established diabetes care teams was higher than that in hospitals without such teams (P<0.05). Conclusion: The construction of diabetes care specialties is in its initial stage. The overall level of diabetes care quality management in non-endocrinology departments is good, but there is still a need to pay attention to the management of operational details. In the future, it is necessary to accelerate the speed of constructing diabetes care specialties in hospitals, strengthen the training, management and utilization of diabetes specialist nurses, and promote the high-quality development of diabetes care in hospitals.

In 2022, the Beijing Nursing Association issued the Clinical Practice Standards for Arterial Blood Gas Analysis in Adults, second edition. The new version of standards was revised on the basis of the 2017 edition of the Clinical Practice Standards for Arterial Blood Gas Analysis, and it has made recommendation adjustments and supplemented the key contents of the arterial blood gas collection process in adults, the quality control of arterial blood gas analysis, and the common complications and treatment of arterial blood collection. It is expected to guide clinical medical staff to correctly understand and use the standards, enhance the nursing ability of caring critically ill patients, ensure the safe treatment of patients and the occupational safety of operators. This article summarizes and interprets the content and updated points.

Objective: To understand the cognitive experience of nurses on the influencing factors of High-Alert Medications (HAM) safety practice, and provide a reference for nurses to manage HAM more safely and effectively. Methods: Thirteen clinical nurses and nursing managers from different departments were selected by purposive sampling method. The clinical event analysis model was used as the theoretical framework, and the descriptive qualitative research method was used to conduct semi-structured interviews and key event interviews. Data were analyzed by content analysis method. Results: A descriptive model of the practice of preventing HAM errors, HAM safety: organizational, nursing and cooperation influences, was constructed. Three themes and 8 subthemes were extracted: organizational factors, nurse abilities and responsibilities, communication and cooperation. Conclusion: The medication safety of HAM in nurses is affected by organizational culture, their knowledge and ability, communication and cooperation between doctors, nurses and patients. This study provides a conceptual framework for the practice of safety management of HAM, and a theoretical basis for medical institutions to manage HAM safely and effectively.

Objective: To explore the effects of improving the home-based symptoms self-monitoring ability in elderly patients with Heart Failure (HF) through optimizing the health education programs based on symptoms management theory, aiming to provide reference for home-care of such patients. Methods: Totally 115 elderly patients with HF admitted to the cardiology department of a tertiary grade A hospital in Jiangsu province from April to September 2023 were recruited as the research participants. The patients were randomly divided into an observation group (n=58) and a control group (n=57) using a random number table method. The control group received routine health education, while the observation group implemented an intervention plan based on symptoms management theory to optimize the health education programs on the basis of routine health education. The mastery of physical perception and self-monitoring symptoms of HF was compared between two groups of patients at three time points: relief of acute HF symptoms, discharge, and 3 months after discharge. The readmission of two groups of patients due to acute HF was followed up for 3 months after discharge. Results: The two groups of patients showed comparability in various indicators after the relief of acute HF symptoms. The mastery of self-monitoring symptoms content in the observation group before discharge was better than that in the control group (P<0.05). The physical perception and self-monitoring symptoms and readmission rate of HF in the observation group after 3 months of discharge were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Implementing forward discharge guidance and optimizing the health education programs based on symptoms management theory can help improve the home-based symptoms self-monitoring ability in elderly patients with HF and reduce the recurrence rate of acute HF.

Objective: To explore the practical effect of doctor-nurse collaborative prescribing mode in patients undergoing colonoscopy in the digestive endoscopy center. Methods: The doctor-nurse collaborative prescribing mode was carried out in the digestive endoscopy center of a tertiary hospital in Chengdu in October, 2022. The nurses were authorized to perform intestinal assessments on patients undergoing colonoscopy in advance and prescribe intestinal cleansing drugs. The number of collaborative prescriptions, the occurrence of adverse events, the intestinal preparation adequacy rate and satisfaction of patients, and the satisfaction of doctors and nurses were used to evaluate the practical effect. Results: A total of 108 patients were prescribed intestinal cleansing drugs by nurses, and no adverse events occurred. The intestinal preparation adequacy rate of patients was 90.7%, the satisfaction score of patients was 19.46±1.02, the satisfaction score of doctors was 4.90±0.41, and 4.76±0.57 of nurses. Conclusion: The doctor-nurse collaborative prescribing mode is beneficial to improve the quality of intestinal preparation of patients, leads to great medical experience of patients, high satisfaction and good feedback of medical staff, and promotes the further development of nurses' right to prescribe in China.

Objective: To translate and cross-culturally adapt the health education impact Questionnaire (heiQ) into Chinese and test its reliability and validity among patients with chronic diseases. Methods: The Chinese version of heiQ (heiQ-C) was developed in strict accordance with the Translation Integrity Procedure after the author's authorization, and 413 patients with chronic diseases were included from a tertiary grade A hospital in Shanghai to test its reliability and validity by convenience sampling. Results: The heiQ-C consisted of 40 items and 8 subscales. The Content Validity Index of the Scale (S-CVI/Ave) was 0.956, and the Content Validity Index (CVI) of each item ranged from 0.880 to 1.000. According to the structure of the original scale, the confirmatory factor analysis results of the heiQ-C showed that the modified eight-factor model fitted well with good model fitting index. The Cronbach's α coefficient of the whole heiQ-C was 0.840, and for each subscale ranged from 0.714 to 0.900. The overall composite reliability of the heiQ-C was 0.810, and for each subscale ranged from 0.750 to 0.895. Conclusion: The heiQ-C has good reliability and validity among patients with chronic diseases, and it can be used to evaluate health education impact for patients with chronic diseases in China.
