Application of a multidisciplinary cooperative blood glucose management model in patients with COVID-19 and diabetes mellitus

Abstract: Objective: To explore the effects of a multidisciplinary cooperative blood glucose management model in patients with COVID-19 and diabetes. Methods: The blood glucose of patients with COVID-19 and diabetes isolated was managed by a multidisciplinary cooperative blood glucose management team. Results: There were significant differences in the changes of fasting blood glucose and 2hpostprandial blood glucose before and after the intervention. No severe hypoglycemia was observedin all patients. Conclusion: The multidisciplinary cooperative blood glucose management model can effectively control the blood glucose level of patients with COVID-19 and diabetes. Such an experience is worth of promotion.
