Abstract: Objective: To analyze the work experience of practicing "Internet + nursing services" for nurses in Xinjiang. Methods: The phenomenological research method of qualitative research was employed. We conducted face-to-face semi-structured interviews with twelve nurses from a certain Level Three Grade A hospital in Xinjiang region who had work experience of "Internet + nursing services". Seven-step phenomenological data analysis method by Colaizzi was used to analyze the interview data and extract the themes. Results: Nurses' work experience of "Internet + nursing service" in Xinjiang can be summed up into four main themes: ①Nurses had a clear intention to practice "Internet + nursing services" and had good working experience;②"Internet + nursing services" was widely recognized and accepted by patients and their family members of various ethic groups; ③Giving full consideration to ethnic characteristics and needs was the main issue when the "Internet + nursing services" was carried out in Xinjiang region; ④Nurses practicing "Internet + nursing services" hoped to make an improvement in their comprehensive skills, especially the communication skills with minorities and the independent problem-solving skills when practicing in remote areas. Conclusion: "Internet + nursing services" is acknowledged by medical staff and patients, which proves the professional value of nurses. At the same time, the current development of "Internet + nursing services" also needs to adapt to the regional characteristics and local culture of Xinjiang so as to promote the long-term development of "Internet + nursing services" in Xinjiang.
