Abstract: Sleep disorder is a common problem for patients discharged from ICUs, which may cause adverse effects on patients' physical and psychological well-being as well as prognosis in the long run. This article reviews the research progress on sleep disorder in post-ICU patients, including the research status, relevant assessment tools and influencing factors to provide evidences for the correct selection of assessment tools and references for developing personalized rehabilitation strategies for these patients.
