Abstract: It is well known that occupational hazards affect the health of occupational groups. Nurses play an important role in promoting health, preventing disease, and providing primary health care, but face multiple occupational hazards at work. The health of nurses should be given special attention because it is not only concerned with a nurse as an individual, but also the caring quality and the safety of patients. Researches on nurse cohort have been carried out in foreign countries since the 1970s. There are many aspects to learn in terms of research content, methods, and results, which have enlightening effects on current nurse health studies in China.
