Abstract: Objective: To investigate the discharge preparation and its influencing factors of patients after cardiac valve replacement. Methods: Totally 139 patients after cardiac valve replacement were investigated during Sep. 2018 to March 2019 by general data, discharge preparation scale and discharge guidance quality scale. Results: The total score of discharge preparation of patients after cardiac valve replacement was (89.51±8.53), and it was positively correlated with the quality of discharge guidance. The multivariate regression analysis results showed that the current caregivers, marital status, work status, characteristics of medication, and quality of discharge guidance were the influencing factors of discharge preparation. Conclusion: The discharge preparation of patients after cardiac valve replacement needs to be improved, and the patients' perceived personal status was not ideal. Nurses should encourage patients to cooperate in early rehabilitation, and take effective interventions to meet the needs of patients and their families to improve the discharge preparation of patients.
