Abstract: Objective: To explore the application of flipped class model based on SPOC in the course of pediatric nursing. Methods: The flipped class model based on SPOC was delivered to 137 undergraduate students in the course of pediatric nursing, in which online teaching before class and offline teaching in class included.Students finished teaching video, online testing and online discussion autonomously through teaching platform before the class,while the class session was dedicated to more active deeper learning by feedback and answer questions, further group exercises, case analysis and summary. Results: All of the 137 students participated in watching video course ware and the discussion online before class actively. The accuracy of online test was high, and the accuracy of test for groups in class even reached 100%. According to the questionnaire survey, most students thought the flipped class model based on SPOC was suitable for the teaching and benefit for their study, and the contents of teaching were excellent or good. Conclusion: The flipped class model based on SPOC is benefit for the development of nursing students' active learning, clinical thinking, and their study performance and efficiency.
