Abstract: Objective: To systematically evaluate the experience of psychosocial adaptation in patients with permanent colostomy at home after surgery, and to provide basis and guidance for clinical medical staff. Methods: The qualitative studies on psychosocial adaptation of enterostomy patients were searched in Chinese and English databases, and the search time was from the establishment of the databases to November 17, 2023, using JBI The Evidence-Based Health Care Center's Qualitative Research Evaluation Tool (2016 Edition) evaluated the quality of the included literature, and the results were synthesized using the Meta-integration method. Results: A total of 10 articles were included, and 40 research results were extracted, which were summarized into 9 new categories and integrated into 3 results: complex emotional reactions, difficult psychological adaptation, and achieving psychosocial adaptation.
