Abstract: Objective: To identify the trajectory of Fear of Progression (FoP) in patients with cervical cancer and to analyze the influencing factors of different trajectories. Methods: A total of 254 patients with cervical cancer were included in the department of gynecology of a hospital in Shijiazhuang from May 2018 to December 2021, the Simplified Fear of Disease Progression Scale was used to collected the data at the time of presurgery, prechemotherapy, after the first chemotherapy, the middle of chemotherapy, at the end of chemotherapy and 3 months after chemotherapy. The growth mixture model was used to identify the trajectory of FoP. Results: A total of four tracks of the FoP in patients with cervical cancer were identified as "continuous decline group" (22.8%), "rise first and then decline group" (32.3%), "zigzag decline group" (29.5%) and "continuous rise group" (15.4%). According to the results of Logistic regression analysis, stage of cancer, depression, anxiety, personality type and coping style were influencing factors for FoP (P<0.05). Conclusion: The FoP in cervical cancer patients showed different tracks. Corresponding intervention should be carried out according to the characteristics of the track of FoP and the time from diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy and continuous treatment after chemotherapy to reduce the level of FoP.
