Abstract: We aim to introduce the Respecting Choices model of Advance Care Planning in the United States including the key roles, education and certification of roles, implementation forms and contents, the status quo of application and popularization in details. This paper could provide references for the development of community Advance Care Planning model under the cultural background in China, so as to ensure that individuals can obtain the care in line with their own preferences and improve their quality of life.
