Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the effects of Tai Chi on cognitive and psychological outcomes in older adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment. Meta-analysis was performed by using RevMan 5.3 software. Results: Seven RCTs were included. Comparing to regular exercise or usual care, the memory [MD=0.37, 95%CI (0.13, 0.61), P<0.01], visuospatial function [SMD=0.57, 95%CI (0.23, 0.91), P<0.01] were improved in the aged with Tai Chi intervention. Conclusion: Tai Chi is efficacious in improving memory and visuospatial function in the aged with mild cognitive impairment, but cannot significant improve global cognitive functions, executive function, verbal fluency and depression.
