Abstract: Smoking is one of the main risk factors that threaten the prognosis of patients with coronary heart disease. Quitting smoking is an effective measure to prevent cardiovascular adverse events in patients, which is a low-cost and highly beneficial measure. It is important for medical staff to strengthen clinical smoking cessation intervention for patients with coronary heart disease through effective methods, improve the success rate of smoking cessation and promote the rehabilitation of patients. This article summarized the smoking cessation intervention methods related to patients with coronary heart disease, the current status and effects of smoking cessation intervention. It is expected to provide medical staff information to help patients to quit smoking.
