Abstract: Objective: To investigate the application effect of nursing quality management by Quality Control team combined with Professional Care team (QC&PC) having all staff participation in the operating room. Methods: Using the QC&PC method, all staff took participate in the process of quality control using PDCA method. The nursing quality score, the surgeon satisfaction and patient satisfaction were compared before and after carrying out the new management method. Results: After implementing the new quality control method, the nursing quality score, the surgeon satisfaction and patient satisfaction were all higher than before (P<0.05). Conclusion: QC&PC team having all staff participation could effectively improve the nurses' work enthusiasm, make up for the deficiency which exist in the traditional quality control method, effectively improve the care quality, the surgeons' and patients' satisfaction in the operating room.
