A study on the application of multidimensional teaching methods in the training of diabetes liaison nurses

Abstract: Objective: To observe the effects of multidimensional teaching methods in the training diabetes liaison nurses. Methods: Multidimensional teaching methods were applied to the training of health education ability of diabetes liaison nurses. According to the current situation of health education ability of liaison nurses, we organize the learning of specialist theory, the training to improve the subjective initiative, thinking management ability and communication skills, so as to improve the educational ability of liaison nurses. Results: After one year's application, the theoretical knowledge of diabetic liaison nurses in the hospital was improved, and there were significant differences before and after the change (P<0.05). The scores of assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation in the health education ability scale of nursing staff were significantly improved, and the patients' satisfaction and self-management compliance were improved as well. Conclusion: Multidimensional teaching methods have significant effects not only on improving the health education ability of diabetes liaison nurses, but also on improving patient satisfaction and self-management compliance.
