Abstract: The safety of catheters is important for pediatric patients in the process of diagnosis and treatment, and plays a crucial role in a variety of medical scenarios. Catheter safety in pediatric patients has become an important issue of nursing quality management. This article aimed to elaborate the current status of evidence-based nursing practice of safety management of catheters in pediatric patients, the clinical benefits obtained, the challenges faced, and the implementation strategies to promote evidence-based nursing practice. It is expected to provide information of safety management for pediatric nurses.
